If you watch Modano, he started that swing with every intention of hurting Tootoo. Fortunatly, he caught himself and pulled it back enough to not do any damage.
However, Novie, I do agree that Modano should be suspended for a blatant stick infraction, bit only a game or two maximum.
These players have got to learn that using your stick, as a weapon either in intent or in effect, is totally unacceptable. |

The only thing about Modanos slash is though i feel it is worthy of a fine, He totally let up, and didnt hit Tootoo very hard at all.

Modano at least should have gotten a fine. He should have a 1 game suspension though. |

I see where you're coming from. It was kinda nonchalant, and b/c Mo's a star they would never do anything unless it was blatant, like Chris Simon blatant. |
