I was just looking up Swedish born players at NHL.com. They have some serious talent to draw from for their national team:
- Alfredsson
- D. Sedin
- H. Sedin
- Nylander
- Huselius
- Sundin
- Zetterberg
- Forsberg
- Naslund
- Holmstrom
- Modin
- Ohlund
I know their talent pool isn't as deep as Canada's or Russia's but it is quite impressive!! Surely at least half a dozen of these guys will be available at the end of the month. If Vancouver gets knoked out they could have a whole team! |

I think the only reason that he is not playing for Sweeden is because he is tired from the last couple of weeks of the season
