Good, now Finland has a better chance at beating them

BTW the article says World Championships, not Olympics.

I think the only reason that he is not playing for Sweeden is because he is tired from the last couple of weeks of the season

s*** my first post didnt go through.. meant to say .. glad sundin isnt playing even though i love him an I hope canada has a chance to reedeem ourselves this year with sweet players like thorton lecaviler an st louis

I was just looking up Swedish born players at NHL.com. They have some serious talent to draw from for their national team:
  • Alfredsson
  • D. Sedin
  • H. Sedin
  • Nylander
  • Huselius
  • Sundin
  • Zetterberg
  • Forsberg
  • Naslund
  • Holmstrom
  • Modin
  • Ohlund

I know their talent pool isn't as deep as Canada's or Russia's but it is quite impressive!! Surely at least half a dozen of these guys will be available at the end of the month. If Vancouver gets knoked out they could have a whole team!
