Semin remember that the top team in each division automatically gets 1-3. So you can't have teams from the same division in the top 3  |

I think Buffalo had one good season. They're not finishing first next year.

New Jersey and Pittsburgh are in the same division so they can not finish in the top three, same hold for :
Buffalo and Ottawa
Detroit and Nashville
Vancouver and Minnesota
Anaheim and Dallas...
