Keep in mind, he has only played 8 games in Montreal. Yes, he's a -2 in those games, but that -14 has as much to do with his time in Carolina as anything else! I'm not saying he's playing well or anything, just pointing out that he's been moved to a new team where he may still be feeling out his new surroundings and that the big minus number could be improved upon once he's aclimatized to his new "mates"! |

Posted - 12/28/2011 : 08:49:30 To be fair, Gomez has only played in 13 games this season. Tomas Kaberle (his teammate) has played in all 37 games without getting a goal so far.
Kaberle is not known for scoring a lot of goals, but 0 in 37 games? He's more of a playmaking defenseman, but he's only managed 14 assists in 37 games.
