The trade deadline is fast approaching and here is what is out there in the online rumor mill:
-Tony Gallagher mentioned that the Canucks may be interested in Brian Smolinski
-Chicago News outlets report a Aucoin & Smolinski for Samsonov & Rivet deal to be in the works but that has obviously been affected by Samsonov being placed on waivers
-Everyone is interested in Forsberg

If the panthers traded bertuzzi they would be STUPID they gave up there franchise goalie for him, he dominated his first 3 games before he had back problems. they should atleast give him the rest of the year

TSN reports that Samsonov is now going to stay in Montreal!!!

I suspect (No source on this part) that they have a deal in place for Forsberg, and once he gets to Montreal, they are going to put Samsonov on his line. This is why he has suddenly changed his tune!!! |
