It was a nice pass too. He seemed very happy when it went in. |

What are you talking about? They have Yashin, Šatan, Witt, DiPietro...they're not stellar but they're certainly good. |

Well duh, Washington's not involved here! Hahahaha
Thats great Mik! hahahahahahahahaha
Anyway, I am very surprised that Smyth got traded. He seemed to love it there. |

Posted - 02/27/2007 : 19:09:21 I believe with Ryan Smyth,Jason Blake,Richard Zednik and Marc-Andre Bergeron they will make it to the playoffs but stanley cup i dont think so there is tougher competion out there than that |

It's not about the cap. If it was only that, there are numerous other ways to deal with that (waive bottom-feeders, etc.). |

Posted - 02/27/2007 : 16:34:00 maybe but Smyth wouldnt want to |

Posted - 02/27/2007 : 16:33:34 Smyth is gone. It's not a cap issue. They tried to sign him to a long-term contract, but couldnt come up with the right numbers that satisfied him. That's not going to change. If he could have been signed, he would have been signed. Unfortunately, He's gone for good...
