If you owned an NHL franchise and you had to trade one of your players, who would you trade? but all these players are not on your team only the one you pick is on your team.

I would probably do the Ward Luongo trade because Luongois the most dominant goalie in the league and Canucks would probbaly suck if they din't have him (even though Canucks are my favorite team).
ryschevy1 Posted - 02/02/2007 : 15:13:04
Why are Loungo and Ward even being compared to each other. As much as I hate the Nuck's Luongo is BY FAR the better goalie, and if I could unload Ward for Luongo, seems like a no-brainer to me! Thats almost like comparing Roloson to Brodeur!

GO OIL!!! YA!!!

Ward for Luongo. Ward only had a good playoff run and has played ok this year but Luongo is a premier, and probably the best, goalie in the league. And a Leafs fan is saying this.

Dude if u want sakic why are u trading him away, the trade says sakic for gagne, witch means u would give up sakic for gagne. I pivked Ovechkin for Crosby, only cuz i would like to see if crosby could do well without the supporting cast

CANUCKS RULE!!

no it doesn't it says Gagne for Sakic

Gagne for Sakic.
Sakic is better than Gagne.
Who will agree with me???

Go Vancouver

definetely Gagne for Sakic, Sakic isn't just a great 2-way player he is a great leader
Mikhailova Posted - 12/28/2006 : 16:38:50
I said Gagne for Sakic. Sakic is great, and I almost said Ovechkin for Crosby but I'd want them both on my team
Kashmire Posted - 12/28/2006 : 16:27:13
Sakic for Gagne looks pretty decent. Gange has been very inconsistent while Sakic has 39 points so far in this season. The second take out Gagne and put Sakic in the dressing room you will see sigificant difference(in a GOOD way : )
C-mac19 Posted - 12/28/2006 : 16:07:09
i have 2 points to make hossa and kovolchuck(sry for my spellling) are on the same team so how could u trade for them and a tarde for sakic is a great trade any day

Ovechkin is heating up now 6 ponits in 2 games, but I know what your going to say Crosby got 10 ponits in 2 games. I really like Ovechkin over crosby.

Who is Sid's supporting cast?

Once again backing up my opinion that Ovechkin is an unstoppable talent, while Sid makes the players around him better.

Forsberg is getting old, and if Gaborik stays un-injured, then he'll be amazing.
Guest4681 Posted - 12/13/2006 : 23:00:47
I could only seriously trade Gaborik and Forsberg, cause they are both good players, but are also part of the Band-Aid Brigade. All those other guys are franchise players and there is no way I would trade them, not even for each other. Except Cam Ward who is a really good young goaltender( and has been a proven No.1 since his days in Red Deer where he stole the show in the WHL), but for Luongo, come on, he has not been proven yet, and I say yet, even with the cup. Cause he came in as a back-up into playoffs and had a good team in front of him, and he is just now a starter. Luongo is proven, the guy can win games, struggling a bit, but doesn't have a huge supporting cast. So Band-Aid Brigade it is.

i'd trade Ovechkin for Crosby

I also like Thornton (even before the SJ days) but I couldn't trade away Jagr.
B-rett10 Posted - 12/13/2006 : 20:04:06
I really like Thornton, so I picked that one.
