C'mon guys, a (now 20-game) point streak does not necessarily make a good player great, heck even Huselius had a 14 or 15-gamer. What IS admirable about his success is that he's been carrying Colorado back to within 6 points of a playoff spot (with a game in hand). When a rookie can carry a team like that, it means that he has franchise potential and that he's a big impact player already. THAT is what is truly impressive to me.
To think that Colorado could oust Calgary of the playoffs puts an ear-to-ear smile on my face. |

Posted - 03/16/2007 : 22:25:05 I think Stastny would win. He is second for rookie scoring and is on a 19 game point streak, most by a rookie. He could win it this year. |
