I'm just wondering as to what people think about the layout of talent in the NHL in terms of conference. Put in the top 5 players in each conference and then say which 5 you think are better.
(Exclude Goalies)
Here is what I think...
East
Crosby
Ovechkin
Heatley
Lecavalier
Alfredsson
West
Thornton
Iginla
Nash
Zetterberg
Datsyuk
All in all I think that the east does have more of the TOP talent in the NHL. At the same time I think that the west has more depth then the east. Teams like Detroit and San Jose have incredible depth in their teams. As far as top talent it's the east.

I totally forgot about Jagr...so I agree with you there. But Gaborik can't stay healthy so I can't agree with you there. |

I think East is better for the same reasons as you ED11. |
