The NHL made an announcement today on the interpretation of the unsportmanlike miscoduct rule. It basically says that if a player does what Sean Avery did the other night in front of Brodeur that they will get a penalty. Here's a link if you have not seen it.

What are your thoughts on the rule change???
Note: This is not a question of what Avery did, but on the NHL changing a rule. |

Good poll, yes I think it needed to be changed he was putting on a show it seemed, its not hockey. I wish he would've got a puck to the back of the head on that play. This being said I think it really would have shut Avery up if they changed the Instagator rule to go with it. |
