Poll Question:
The NHL made an announcement today on the interpretation of the unsportmanlike miscoduct rule. It basically says that if a player does what Sean Avery did the other night in front of Brodeur that they will get a penalty. Here's a link if you have not seen it.

What are your thoughts on the rule change???

Note: This is not a question of what Avery did, but on the NHL changing a rule.

Choices:

What?? How can the NHL change a rule in the middle of the playoffs??
Exactly what should have happened. That kind of thing needs to be fixed.
Should have changed the instigator rule so an enforcer can deal with that kind of thing
It''s really dumb. If it was a superstar rather than Avery nothing would have changed

Good poll, yes I think it needed to be changed he was putting on a show it seemed, its not hockey. I wish he would've got a puck to the back of the head on that play. This being said I think it really would have shut Avery up if they changed the Instagator rule to go with it.
