Posted - 01/16/2007 : 13:26:26 Sorry for the confusion, Pucker is correct the way I worded it. The question should read, 1.) Who were the last two players to retire from the NHL that played for an Original six team before the 1967-68 expansion? 2.) What year did they retire ?

Posted - 01/16/2007 : 12:38:06 Good guess, but not Gordie Howe. He retired from the NHL in 1971, played in the WHA two years later, then retired again in 1980. These two players retired after Gordie Howe...
