1) Who was the first goalie to lose a game without giving up a goal? 2)What was the name of the first all black hockey league? 3)What was the first team to score 5 empty net goals in one game?

1.) Roland Huard 1 goal Toronto Maple Leafs 1930-31. 2.) Frank "Flash" Hollett 20 goals in 1944-45 Detroit Red Wings. 3.) 111 Mel Hewitt with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles in the 1986-87 season. Non NHL, but you did not specify...

Posted - 07/16/2007 : 06:14:59 Erin Whitten is the first female goaltender to win a professional hockey game. On Oct 30, 1993 she played for the Toledo Storm (ECHL) and won the game 6-5 over the Dayton Bombers.
Manon Rheaume played in an exhibition game for the Tampa Bay lightning on Sept 23, 1992. She played the second period only, she stopped 7 of 9 shots. The St. Louis Blues won the game 6-4.
There has never been a woman play in an NHL regular season game…
