Ok here it goes i'm gonna give you questions that have to do with "firsts", and you're gonna answer them.
I'll start you off with 3.

1) Who was the first goalie to lose a game without giving up a goal?
2)What was the name of the first all black hockey league?
3)What was the first team to score 5 empty net goals in one game?

the two teams are wrong.
The sheiks was a moose jaw team in the early 20's but it wasn't an all black team.

The Truro Shieks were the intial team in an all black hockey league that played in the 20's. Not sure if this was the first league thou. Other teams I know in that league were the Speedboys and Rovers.

Sorry I was typing and not thinking at the same time...

1.) I think that happend last year (2005-06), a goalie lost a 0-0 tie in a shootout, therefor he had no goals scored on him...

4)Who was the first NHL goaltender to play 100 games without a shutout?
5)Who was the first german player to be drafted by the NHL?

You're on the right track...it's pretty complicated though. You have to know the exact game to know it.

Check Don Beaupre, he had gone 142 games without a shutout before the 1984-85 season...Pokey Redd***'s 100th game would have been in 1988-89 season...

wyntyre you are correct on both counts. So here's 3 more questions...
1)Who was the first D-man to play 20 years with the same team?
2)Who was the first deaf hockey player?
3)What was the name of the NHL's first mascot?
good luck

Don Beaupre :1980-81 44 games, 1981-82 29 games, 1982-83 36 games, 1983-84 33 games that is a total of 142 games to the end of the 1983-84 season with no shutouts, that is four years before Redd*** : 1986-87 48, 1987-88 28, 1988-89 41 total of 117 to the end of 1988-89...

The first to play 100 games without a shutout is Beaupre not Redd***...
