And a major one at that.

Did you hear about the retired proctologist? He spent 40 years saying "what's a place like this doing in a girl like you?"

Wish there was a like button for every accomplishment this guy has done in the last 4 years on his run to become the #2 all time. He is the only player who I truly believe has a shot of playing as much or more than Howe and being more effective at his age while doing so. That is an almost as incredible feat as some of the records he is chasing.

The next milestone for Jagr is passing Gordie Howe for 3rd alltime in points. Jagr currently sits 5 back of Howes 1850.

If he hadn't played those 3 seasons in Russia, I don't think it would be a stretch to say he might of had a chance to catch Gretzky at 894. He's on pace to finish with 750 after this season, iand if he could of averaged 30 goals a season those 3 years he spent in Russia, he would be at 840. He would of also surpassed the 2000 point mark by now as well.

If he does play til he's 50 like some think he plans to, then he will no doubt still catch Howe for 2nd in goals. And he should pass Messier next season for 2nd alltime in points.

It is almost certain that if he had not spent 3 years in the KHL it would have been Howe he passed for second all time.

I watched the game last night, it's unbelievable how he can still take over a game and be such a dominant player at 44.
