This one makes no sense to me. What the hell do the Sabres need a 2nd round pick for? They are on the verge of making a cup run (if they get healthy) What if Miller gets hurt? Is Conklin going to step in and take over?

Unless they move the 2nd round pick for a player that can help now.

But why not make this trade in the off season?

This one is puzzling

ya but i wouldnt trade biron Conklin sucks and they dont need a second round pick dumb move

I think the move was stupid, keep Biron for the playoff run and then trade him in the offseason. And they don't need Lupul scoring isn't something they need to worry about.

No kidding. It's a miracle they've been able to do so well without Afinogenov and Drury. If Miller gets injured, that's it.

They couldnt trade him in the offseason... He's an unrestricted free agent... If the Sabres didnt get the 2nd round pick, they would get nothing.

Having said that, If I were them, I would be very tempted to acccept the fact that I would get nothing in return for him, and keep him as a quality backup for the cup run, since they are on the verge..
