I dont think so, guys hit players with there sticks in the face all the time, sure this wasnt the same as those, but you cant single out one player and give him charges for that

It is in the same class as McSorley and Bertuzzi. Both were Charged. Let the courts decide the rest. Charges should be laid.

I know the law always steps in when it gets this bad but Hollweg said that he wasn't going to press charges and that he didn't think charges should be laid, so I don't think they should. If you can punch a guy in hockey and not get charged (something you could be charged for outside a rink) then I don't think they should step in now either. This was a little more serious than a punch but I think the NHL has the means to deal with it in the appropriate manner.
