Here's a link for a neat test, where you can guess the top earners in the NHL the past 20 years: http://www.sporcle.com/games/Brentzky/top_earning_nhl_players
Can you please hold off on making any comments which would ruin the text for the next person. (So that people can take the test without hints like "I thought so-and-so would rate higher," or "how did so-and-so make this list," etc.)
So, no comments (at least comments with hints) until May 28th! And after that, I would be very interested in people's responses. For hockey fans who follow the money side of hockey (i.e. player's salaries), you will find the test interesting, and probably, a bit challenging. (It takes ten minutes to do the test, so open up the link when you have the time to spare, like at work!)

That sporcle.com has quite a few cool quizzes. Hockey related and otherwise. A fun way to waste some time.
I got 13 of the 20 (I gave up with 2 minutes left on the clock). I was a little disappointed with my performance especially after seeing the correct answers but then again the ticking clock does funny things to your brain. Spelling also makes some of them tougher.
I was also somewhat surprised at some of the people that didn't make the list but I'll leave it at that for the time being. |

16/20.........embarrassed by one i should have had FOR SURE!!!
What i didn't like, was the fact that if you got one wrong, you don't lose a guess! I think it'd be better if you had to make your list of 20 and then see how you did! I know i'd have been 10 or less if i did it that way (got some wrong in the 10 mins)! |

18 out of 20, missed 12 and 19.
19 surprised me, 12 was a mental lapse.

18/20. Gave up after 5 minutes (have no patience).
I missed 3 and 5. Surprising but obvious when you think about it. |

wow, 19/20 - missed only #16, which was a total brainfart given that I got #7...
Another interesting site I found: http://www.hockeyzoneplus.com/bizdb/nhl-salaries-search.htm. You can search for any player by name, and it will show you their career hockey earnings. Another great time-waster, but hey, its Friday. |
