dear guest 9208: note that this was a poll which had had multiple rookies on the list. I just left Gustavsson on the list for fun when I trimmed it to the official nominees. It proves that team bias changes our votes.

Guest 6816, the list reflects the NOMINEES as selected for the trophy, not just by those who post on the forum. Tavares is not a nominee, thus he was taken off the list.

John Tavares had a decent season, when you consider the team he plays for. He does not play with much talent, what-so-ever.

However, that being said, the NHL got the nominees correct. Although, Tyler Myers will take the trophy.
