Micheal Peca is a prime example of that the Leafs are doing wrong. |

Toronto doesnt have alot of oltimers on their team so Blubberboy cant justify whatever he says. They dont have a great team, but they can handle most teams and not be embarrased.
Injuries have been a problem for the Leafs and would definatly be the reason for their record. If everyone was playing 100% they would be a team to watch out for.
But if Blubberboy wants to talk about something that has everything wrong lets talk Canucks and their offence, or mabye the goalie they traded alot for, then overpayed him, then got the team a worse record then last to this point in the season..
GO LEAFS GO!!! |

Toronto's in last place in their division with a .500 percentage and 17 losses. They're not that good. |

Every single one of those options is JFJ's fault. He's an idiot and he is the sole reason I gave up being a Leafs fan. How can anyone still be patient with this guy? |

The goaltending is definitely sub-par and lets the team down on an almost nightly basis. Regardless of what other improvements could be made I can't see this team going far with Raycroft as the #1 goalie. However there's also an obvious lack of forwards who can put the puck in the net; I love Darcy Tucker but there's no way he should be your go-to goal scorer. Everyone who follows the Leafs knew this was a problem, so JFJ spent $7 million on defensemen Pavel Kubina and Hal Gill; not surprisingly that hasn't solved the goal scoring problems. Depending on how Tuuka Rask develops trading him for a very mediocre Andrew Raycroft could be a disaster. Coming out of the lockout some bold moves could have completely remade this team, but JFJ did nothing then and has since done little other than over pay defencemen. I think the blame for the Leafs woes can be layed squarely at his feet. |

The Leafs lost to the Canucks yesterday IN TORONTO. And this wasn't just a defeat, it was a rout: 6-1. The Canucks aren't stellar yet they STILL beat the Leafs, by quite a large margin too. Sheesh.. JFJ needs to get fired and the Leafs need to get better players if they want the slightest hope of improving. |

they're actually not struggling. they just plain suck. it's not that hard to figure out. i know, i know....all leafs fans will say this and that, but top to bottom they have mediocre everything. including fans. did anybody hear a peep out of those suits at the rink on Saturday when the Canucks demolished them? it's a shame T.O. is the city that hosts Canada's hockey games in international tournaments because they represent Canadian hockey fans poorly. any retorts from the centre of the universe??? |
