To Washington: Get one of the best goalies in the game, will almost surely put them over top. Add salary tho.
kipprusoff 5.8 mil (2014)

to calgary: Get solid goaltender of future, top d propect, and a solid rfa, shed salary and older player.
varlamov (ELC-2011)
Carlson (ELC-2012)
Fehr (RFA)

To boston: Get Top scorer to help their woes, a decent goalie prospect, and low pick. Drop lots of poor salary, to give cap space desperetley needed.
jarome Iginla- 7 mil (2013)
irving (ELC-2011)
2010 5th rounder

To calgary: Get high draft pick to future star, very good prospect whichever the three, and take on salary from ryder who can still score, and thomas who could possibly return to form.
2nd overall (leafs)
colbourne(ELC-2013) or Hamill(ELC-2011) or Caron(ELC-2013)
Ryder- 4 mil (2011)

There will be trades and deals in Calgary, but these are simply absurd.

No way Kipprusoff is going anywhere.
No way Iginla is going anywhere.

Even if Iginla is going someone, no a chance he goes for all of that. Maybe the 2nd over all pick and Ryder(only because of salary). Even that is a stretch.

hockster, yer dreaming

Kipper - I don't think Calgary is trading Kipper, for anything. Surprisingly though, WAS do have the cap room to get him, now that Theodore's contract is up @ 4.5m. WAS will be one of the interesting teams to watch in the offseason (need a goalie, how much are they going to have to pay Backstrom, where will they get all those dmen)

Iggy - I suppose its possible that he gets traded in the summer. However, I have a hard time believing that BOS is going to give up that much for him - 2 starting roster players, a prospect, AND the second overall pick? No way. I agree with Beans - Iggy for the 2nd pick, and maybe Ryder as a salary dump, and that's it. I think you overestimate the value of a superstar who's best years are behind him.

I don't think Boston would give up that #2 (maybe 1, maybe 3?) for Iggy straight up, just the pick even! Iggy's awesome, one of my fav's but he's not getting any younger. I can't see Calgary getting as much for him as a lot of people would figure!

And, i agree, Kipper is highly unlikely to be leaving Calgary anytime soon!.
