What will they look like when they are functioning? It will be a pretty sweet addition. A suggestion is that they contain a poolie ranking followed by a list of every poolies players (pooloes like to look at other poolies teams, etc) in order of points.

We sent out a test batch to some users last night. All seemed to work ok so we will initiate the system tonight. Everyone should start receiving their email summaries by the end of this week (Nov 1)

Right now they only contain the totals of the teams, not the individual player stats. Some teams have close to 100 teams with 50 or more players in each team. Obviously we can't send that much info in an email! So just the team summaries. It's not pretty right now but it's fast. It will undergo some changes and improvements until we find the right formula but this will take time. please post any comments here...please be constructive.

Great job on the emails, thanks!

Is it possible for me to add another email address to my team? I don't mean to sound greedy, and it's no problem if that's not possible.

hi Positivearl.

You can always go into the admin panel and add an address to a team if there is no address in it already. But if you mean adding two addresses to one team that's not doable right now. Of course you could fudge it a bit. you could add a fake team to the bottom of your team list and add in your second email address. then both your addresses would get an email. You'd see a blank team down at the bottom of your pool however.

Season's greeting to you too! And to all the Pickuphockey memebers and users!

I just talked to our developers and it turns out that you can add multiple addressses to a single team. You just need to separate them with a comma (,). Cool! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT AND CURRENT. if they are wrong and bounce i just add them to the "DO NOT SEND TO" list.

The email updates had some enhancements done this last week. they are going out again starting this morning. We'll be touching them up a bit more in the next week or so but it shouldn't affect the delivery.

By the way we're adding small text ads into them to try and generate a few ad revenue dollars to cover our costs. Please do support the site and click through a little bit for us. Never hurts to ask right! LOL!
