None of the above, in fact Gordie Howe and Frank Mahovlich never scored 50 goals in either league, Gretzky never scored 50 in the WHA.

This could be way off but it's the only name that comes to mind: Dale Hawerchuk?

I don't know if he played in the WHA so it's a huge guess.

I didn't Google this or even find it on purpose, I actually came across it while reading a trivia book:

Blaine Stoughton

Never heard of him, but hey, it's the right answer!

Correct.

Blaine Stoughton scored 52 goals for the Cincinnati Stingers (WHA 1976-77), he also scored 56 for the Hartford Whalers (NHL 1979-80) and 52 in (NHL1981-82).

Next Question

2.) Name the player that has the distinction of captaining a losing NHL team in the most Stanley Cup Finals ?

Not Cam Neely, way to young for the WHA draft.

Mike Gartner is incorrect, he does have alot of points, he did play in the WHA, but was not drafted in the WHA...One of my favorites, I grew up in Niagara Falls...
