Bobby Orr in 1970 or 1974? He won the Art Ross both years and is still the only defenseman to do so.

GO OIL!!! YA!!!

If you do not know the answer, why respond...

I would rather you google it than respond with every player in the NHL...

Good Luck...

The first person to win the scoring race with more assists than goals was Dave Schriner in 35-36. It happened another 10 times from then until 47-48. That was the first year there was an official Art Ross Trophy. That year, the winner also had more assists than goals. His name was Elmer Lach.

This question was very tough, however incredibly easy with Google. I disagree with using google to answer these questions, but I want a new question, so I googled!

Jiri Bubla who scored his first goal in the 81-82 season with Vancouver. His son scored his first goal, also with Vancouver, in 92-93. His son's name is Jiri Slegr.

I'll guess Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe. He played in Detroit in 70-71, then in WHA until 79-80 when he played with the Whalers.

It seems easy, wouldn't it be Raycroft in '04 because of the lockout year after?

It would seem like the most logical answer, but did you know that Raycroft played for three seasons in Boston before he won the award in 2003-04 season...

Gaye Stewart is close, but he played one playoff game in th NHL the year before he won the Calder...This player had never played in the NHL until the year he won, and then did not play the next year...
