Hey OC, I love this trade. Conroy is a quality center who will hopefully reignite the chemistry that he and Iginla had in 03/04 when they went on their cup run. I was very disappointed when the Flames traded Conroy away in the off season that year. With Tanguay and a couple others firing now, their line up is much deeper now than it was then so I think this will prove to be fruitful down the stretch. Conroy has had a bad season so far so I think the move will shake him up. I predict he'll get 25-ish points in the last 33 games which will be a whole lot better than Lundmark's 5.
more info on the trade...

make that 2 goals, maybe him and Tanguay are developing some chemistry, Tanguay assisted both his goals. Too early to tell though. |

Don't get too ahead of yourselves guys, he scored against LA. Who hasn't?
Let's see how he does against a good team. |

I agree Babs. Overall, a trade of Lundmark and potentially low drafts picks for Conroy on paper is a good trade. But Calgary's success down the stretch will depend one two players, and Conroy is not one of them. |

It seems like Conroy has actually picked up where he left off when he departed from the Flames. For all you nay-sayers he has 10 points (3/7) in 10 games. Looks like he's spreading it around too, it's not just against the "weak" teams, he has points against Detroit, Vancouver and Atlanta too. |
