Assemble your ultimate team from players who played at least 5 seasons in the 90's. The basic 5 guys and a goalie or, if you'd like, an entire roster.

Holy Canucks Homers!
I understand your passion for your team (and my team) but keep it in the Canucks forum. Other than Bure, you cant make an argument here so lets not make it team specific.
Great Topic willus3!
1st team Bure-Gretzky-Lemieux MacInnis-Stevens Brodeur
2nd team Selanne-Sakic-Jagr Lidstrom-Niedermayer Roy
This is a mix of some of my favorites and some that are so damn good you just cant exclude them. I await the criticism
"Some people skate to the puck. I skate to where the puck is going to be." ~Wayne Gretzky

I'd go something like this: Eric Lindros Mario Lemieux Brett Hull Wendel Clark Wayne Gretzky Jari Kurri Paul Kariya Denis Savard Teemu Selanne (quite possibly the fastest line ever assembled) Steve Yzerman Guy Carbonneau Sergei Federov
Ray Bourque Niklas Lidstrom Chris Chelios Scott Neidermeyer Scott Stevens Adam Foote
Martin Brodeur Patrick Roy Eddie Belfour
So a couple I went with what has been proven and the rest I figured would complement each other. What's ridiculous is looking at who isn't on the team. I should have said make two teams maybe. |

Stevens Lemieux Neely Shanahan Francis Jagr Yzerman Fedorov Bure Forsberg Sakic Tocchet
Stevens Niedermeyer Lidstrom U. Samuelsson Bourque Zubov
Brodeur Hasek
Certainly many players on my list are debatable/changable. I tried to factor in chemistry, familiarity, and grit.
Honourable mentions: Gretzky (not picked because it ain't 80's), Selanne, Hull, Mogilny,C. Lemieux,Sundin, Gilmour,Lindros,Kariya, LeClair, Linden, Messier, Nieuwendyk, Roenick,Modano,Tkachuk, Bondra, Kasparitis, L. Murphy, Konstantinov, K.
