46 years of 'thick' and THIN, and I do mean thin, are enough. Loyalty is a 2-way street. Leaf fans live on a one way street and it ain't leading to them. I'm sick and tired of finding another team to root for every year during the playoffs. Most years the season is over in April...just as it was back in the 70 game schedule 6 team era. [but with no result of note]
I've bought the merchandise, I've bought the tickets, hot dogs and beers. I've invested my passion[s] and I've been repaid with empty promises and half-assed efforts/results. If the word FAN is short for fantatically stupid...I've been ALL that....way beyond long enough.
Who the cap fits...Let them wear it. |
