| Well of course Mario's 5-goal game where he scored in every different way was a big deal but last night Chris Clark scored a natural hat-trick to start the game, one EV, one PP and one SH. I thought that was pretty cool and I bet it hasn't happened in a while, if ever. |

SJ's 4th shutout in their last 7 games (6-0-1). They've now outscored opponents 26-4 in those games and guess who was back for that shutout, Toskala  ! |

Solid 5-1 win for SJ. Thornton has 20 points in the last 9 games and has a real good shot at catching Crosby now (only 6 points back). Michalek has 14 in his last 6 and I don't remember Cheechoo's exact stats but they're similar. He got a hat-trick tonight, including his 30th goal of the season. He must be the most under-appreciated 30-goal scorer in the league. Injures his leg during the season and plays half of it with his knee not being 100% and he can still manage 30+ goals. Who cares what he did last year, that's pretty impressive to me. And that's only SJ's line "1A"... Ho hum, just another win for Toskala (26-9-1).
I am so disappointed in Nashville for blowing their lead on Calgary. I have a feeling that Edmonton will beat Colorado tomorrow night, and that's going to really hurt them.
Man I just realized, with SJ's win and Anaheim's loss, SJ is now only 2 points behind them for the Pacific division lead! |

Did anyone watch the Red Wing-Blue Jackets game?? I was wondering how Bertuzzi played, I havent been able to catch any hoghlights of that game yet so all I no is what i read on the recap.

| Wow...lots of TSN bias from the announcers tonight. "Ryan Miller is the only reason it's tied" Come on, that's BS. The Sabres are an all-around good team perfectly capable of beating the 9th place Leafs without relying solely on Miller. It's the Canucks who have to rely on their goalie to get them through the game. "This 1-1 tie is a disservice to the Leafs' effort tonight"--then are they contradicting themselves and admitting the Sabres are good? The score is the score, it's proof that the Leafs can't get a lead on Buffalo even when they play hard. |
