I think Gaborik is the fastest while controlling the puck. I think these ^ two would be the fastest in a flat out race. |

Now, as for the topic.. :)
If we are talking speed and quickness (starting from a standstill), then I
would have to say that Gaborik blows the field away (literally ;)).
If we are talking top speed with some kind of wind-up, then i'd have to
go for:
Wes Walz (who consistently beats Gaborik in the skills competition preliminaries), Scott Niedermayer, or Martin St. Louis.

Great speed. If he had any hockey sense, he'd be amazing instead of just really good.
The guy has tunnel vision. He forgets he has teammates on the ice with him sometimes.
I agree, he is fast though.
