Hoping I can get some thoughts on my remaining keeper spot. We get 1 point for goals and 1 point for assists, with no other point categories.
I have to select 1 player from the following: Hossa Vanek Gaborik Bergeron Horton Jagr Doan Grabner
Thanks.

tough one - its more a case of eliminating good players for one reason or another, rather than picking one.
Vanek and Gaborik are both getting major new pieces to their teams this year, and no one knows how its going to affect their games (should be positive but there could be a break in period). Bergeron and Horton both did well but Bergeron has injury issues, Horton took a lot of last season off scoring-wise. Jagr is a wildcard, who knows what he's going to do. Grabner played about 50 good games last year, who knows how his followup season is going to go. Doan just doesn't play for an offensively charged team.
Which leaves Hossa - at the end of the day, CHI is one of the best offensive groups in the league, and he's going to get points with that team and playing with that core group of players. So I'd keep him. |

myself, I'd keep Gaborik, Richards will feed him, and he's a scorer. Expect him to have a hugh year, 20 powerplay goals is not a stretch |

Thomas Vanek without a doubt. Not only does he get the addition of new players, but he gets his set up man back in Derek Roy.
The other group of players (minus Doan) could break a nail & be gone for months as they have a plethora of injury history,
Every journey begins with a single step. |

Last pick? Go Jagr! You have nothing to lose and he'll sign a two year deal so you can offload him from your keeper pool next season. Take a chance, pools are won and lost by the late round picks. |

Thanks for the advice so far - much appreciated. I thought I would share all my forwards so that the picture is clearer. Currently I have the following 5 set as keepers, we get 6 keepers at forward: Stamkos St Louis Parise Thornton Heatley
Is there anyone from this list that you'd remove in favour from the original list of players I gave?
Thanks. |

I'd keep Gaborik. Your forwards are stacked so if he gets hurt its not the end of the world...hopefully he stays healthy and Richards and him pile up the points for you.
I love lamp |

My first thought was Vanek but Gaborik is a very interesting choice too.
