If you were in a pool that is scored:

1pt-goal/assist
0.5 pt- PIM

4.0 pt/shutout
2.0 pt/win
1.0 pt/O.T. or shootout loss
1.0 pt/goal and assist
0.5 pt/penalty minute

9 players per team plus one goalie. Only 2 trades/pickups allowed. (one before christmas/one after)

Who are the first 10 picks in the draft???

LOL, no doubt. From last years stats:

- Lundqvist: 128
- Thomas: 124.5
- Price: 122.5
- Bryzgalov: 111
- Kipper: 106
- Luongo: 103

Compared to the points for the top forwards:
- Perry: 150
- Stamkos: 127
- D Sedin: 120
- H. Sedin: 114
- E. Staal: 112
- Kesler: 106
- St Louis, Selanne, OV: 105

That being said - your point system has too many points given to PIM's, for me at least. Based on last season, your #1 pick should be Zenon Konopka - with 307 PIM's and 9pts, his value would have been 162.5. Some other notables that you should consider (based on last season):

- Chris Neil: 121
- Steve Ott: 123.5
- Steve Downie: 117.5
- Brandon Prust: 109
- Scott Hartnell: 120
- Milan Lucic: 121
- Ryan Clowe: 112

Personally, I don't want to be part of a pool where Konopka is your top pick, but if the rest of your poolies are into it then so be it.

Words you never thought you'd hear.........

"Okay, so with the first overall selection in our pool this season, i'll select, from the Ottawa Senators, Zenon Konopka!"
LOL!

Think your pool has too many variables. Over complication doesn`t make it better.

Neil and Konopka are teammates now. Might impinge a bit on Neil's PIM output.

The Oil WILL make the playoffs in 2012.
