I think we should start a topic were we can just talk about that playoffs.
Stuff that happens during the game.
Who you are cheering for.
And just anything about the playoffs that you wanna talk about.

The first round is so un predictable, so many of the teams playing each other are fairly even...could the salary cap be taking over...

OK, lemme say it now:
SABRES ARE WINNING CUP IN 07!!
I think SJ's gonna win tonight, and win the series. Dallas is going to own Vancouver, Atlanta's gonna beat NYR, Ottawa's gonna defeat Pittsburgh because they have more experience, and Anaheim-Minnesota is the one I'm sitting on the fence on. My first instinct would be Anaheim, but I dunno, I have a feeling Minnesota can pull it off.... |

I actually grew up in Niagara Falls before I moved to London, so I saw all the Buffalo games, if they were not blacked out (back in the 70's), my favorite player for them was Perreault, he was simply amazing...
This will be the first time ever cheering for Buffalo, hopefully a good sign...

Let me be the 1st to say the Oilers are gonna ummm....They have 6th overall pick!
Mik i agree with all your predictions too except i think Vancouver's gonna beat Dallas unless Turco really steps it up. I am also sitting on the fence with the Anaheim-Minnesota series, I think Minnesota can pull it off but im not sure how well Gaborik and company can perform when they will be facing either Niedermayer or Pronger practically the whole game. I will mkae final prediction after first game (not just who wins who i feel is playing better and if i think the Minny forwards are doing good against Pronger and Niedermayer i think Minnesota's got it). |

Yeah Minnesota better get it, I have them winning in the playoff predictions, haha. Plus I like Minnesota, and I want to see them get far (but not farther than Buffalo ). I think the Super Slovaks, Rolston, and Backstrom can do it.
Hmm..2-1 Nashville. Radulov and JP Dumont scored within 1:21 of each other. Even if SJ loses tonight, they're getting the series. I don't see them losing to the Preds. And it's ZidLITSky, FSN announcers, ZidLITSky, not "Zidlikky"... |

Ottawa is pounding Pittsburgh...4-1. This could be a taste of the playoffs, Sid and company.
I like the matchup in team names tonight: Sharks, Predators (same thing, lol), Wild, Ducks (sounds funny), Senator Penguins (now that's weird), and Star Canucks (1CF I bet you like that one )
