9. You think that the 13th draft pick is lucky.
8. You hate JFJ as much as the Canadiens.
7. You think Don Cherry is a legitimate unbiased hockey analyst.
6. You think that CBC is not another one of the Leafs sports channels.
5. A picture of the 67 Leafs is still on the wall.
4. You think Alexander Steen will be the next Mats Sundin.
3. The words "refs" and "unfair" comes out of your mouth more often than the word "the"...
2. You find yourself getting more and more depressed as the season goes on.
And the #1 sign…
1. You spend more time defending the Leafs than cheering them on.

It's true I live in B.C with a bunch Canuck fans and they all make fun of my leafs So I am defending them all the time

Buick, great post. I tried being a leafs fan in the 80's for about 15 minutes, ya I'll never do that again. I like #10. What is up with that, do families buy season tickets and hand them down for generations? I'd bet that they could fill that stadium if it was twice as big but I have no idea why! The only good thing about the make-beleafs is Sundin and from time to time Tucker (for the shear spectacle of it all).

Well I am a Leafs fan and all ten are some what true...
If we can't laugh about a bad season then it's not really a game is it...

you are so lucky, but i live in the same situation with you. I live in Toronto, but i am a huge canucks fan. Well I actually make fun of them more, because the canucks are way better then the leafs! Remember the score 6-1 |

When life gives you lemons throw them at the Ottawa Senators and their fans and hope it gets them in the eyes ;) |
