Poll Question:
The Conference finals are all set! The New York Rangers move on and will face the New Jersey Devils in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Who will win and in how many to reach the Stanley Cup?

I picked the Rangers in 6. Lundqvist is playing well now.
Did you hear about the retired proctologist? He spent 40 years saying "what's a place like this doing in a girl like you?" |

I think the devils will handle the Rangers almost as easily as they handled Philly, New York doesn't have the same scoring talent that Philly had, but even they were held to 1--2 goals most of the game. GO DEVILS

But the Flyers didn't have the defence and the goaltending powerhouse that the Rangers have. They may not score a whole lot of goals, but if they get 2 goals or a powerplay goal, the Rangers have almost won the game already.
It will be a close series I think, but I think the Rangers will take it in 7. |

I think this will be a much higher scoring series than people realise . . . just because the Rangers only squeaked by Washington doesn't mean anything when relating it to the Devils. They will not have the same defensive fortitude against the Rangers big guns, who I think will now start really firing.
On the other end, the Devils faced the two weakest goalies/defences in the entire playoffs to get here - I believe the fun stops here for them. Bryz and Thoedore couldn't hold Lundqvist's jock strap, and Brodeur . . . at this point, he lets in a softie once in a while.
Rangers in 6, with two blow-out games.
