Poll Question:
The Eastern conference final is still up in the air, but the Western conference final has been finalized with the Coyotes game 5 win!
I am sure none of us had predicted these 2 teams making it to the conference finals never-mind past the first round! Now let us see who will prevail and move on to the cup final.
Who do you think and in how many?

NO!!! SCREW YOU! I REFUSE TO VOTE!!! Seriously....are these the only two i have to choose from? Did LA really just DESTROY the 1 and 2 seeds? AND, have #3 up next??? Sorry, but LA in 6 sounds too easy. I'm going with the NHL Coyotes! NOOOOOOOOO......did i just predict the 'Yotes to make the cup final????
I give up......... |

The Kings look poised to take home lord stanley at this point, IMO. Not something I would have said a month ago, but here we are.

Kings in 5. Smith gets knocked down a level with LA's potent offence and Quick stymies the Coyotes shooters.

hahaha I love this Alex, thanks for the laugh.
I am going to say Kings in 5, but all very close games. They will steal one game in Phoenix, then win both at home then close it out on the road, like they have been doing so well this year. |

Just seen in the newspaper yesterday that the only 8th seeded teams to make it this far in the playoffs were Montreal, Edmonton and now L.A. |

Absolutely! And the Preds...what happened to the vaunted shutdown pair of Suter and Weber? Good lord...I also refuse to vote and am now switching to IIHF hockey ...or at least Eastern Conference only! Yikes!
PS. Canada squeeked by Switzerland today 3-2...good grief should we not be crushing that team?

Halak went down in game 2 of round 1, the kings had nothing to do with that, Elliott played since then

Kings in six. It woul be real funny to see the Kings hosting the Capitals in the finals. This can actually happen, as LA finished 13th overall and the Caps 15th |

I voted for LA. Better goalie, slightly better D, much better scoring depth. Mr. Smith might be able to keep the magic going for a couple, but not more than that.
Kings in 6.
