Poll Question:
Craig Simpson has just quit as Assistant Coach of the Edmonton Oilers. He is joining Jim Hughson on the CBC western telecast of Hockey Night In Canada as the color man. The question is: In his hockey career has Simpson been a better player, coach or tv personality?

Choices:

Coach
Player
Broadcaster
None of the above

I will always relate Simpson to being a player. I don't know how much he can do to save Hughson's play-by-play though. I can't stand listning to him.

My prayers have been answered...Greg Millen is gone! Simpson will be 10x the colour man the Millen was! But that's not very hard to do.

I've always liked Simpson as a commentator. I don't know much about his coaching and as a player he was a solid 50+ point man on a mix bag of Oiler teams. I think his biggest days in hockey are yet to come. I'm looking forward to seeing him this year.
