| Hmm, this will be terrible for his career. Hopefully we can get him outa this mess, though I doubt it. Atleast we have him for the season though he will probably be depressed... |

What a stupid guy, he represents the NHL and now he's going to jail! So stupid!
Obviously shows he has a bad lawyer. And he was going to be an important part of the Leafs. Stupid desicion by him and this should teach him a lesson. I wonder if he'll come back to the league.

Well Paintrain, he didn't exactly know what he was doing, and he might now have fled if he was sobre, though his crime is still bad. There is a chance he could get suspended sentance, isn't there? There are ways to get out of this and though he did a bad thing, he will learn from this mistake. If not he will pay with his career most likely. Jail could probably ruin this guy.

He also pleaded guilty, btw. |

What did Craig MacTavish do for the 1984-85 season ?
He spent a year in jail...Then played for another 12 seasons...
By the way he pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide, while under the influence of alcohol...

Bell's sentance will not start until after the 07/08 season. He still has time to carry the Leafs to a cup win this year.........haha.........yeah right!!! |
