The title speaks for itself.... do you feel Carey Price deserves to be chosen for this year's allstar game... I am talking about his performance of this season not his career. And why?

No, but he gets in due to the '1 player from every team' rule. Who else deserves to go from the Habs? Gallagher? Tough to break into that forward group, especially with the seasons some players on both the Lightning & Bruins are having!

Voted yes . . . because he is the lone star on the Canadiens.
Is he having an all-star year? No.
Has he been the #1 goalie the past 5 years? yes.

Thus, all-star.

I'd prefer they base the all-star team on the current years stats. take the top point getters for all skater positions (forwards and d-men). and take top goalies based on W's or a combination of W's and GAA/SV%.

and I couldn't care less if you're team doesn't have a representative. if there isn't a person on your team among the top scorers in the league, then perhaps no one on said team is all-star worthy.

my two cents anyway....
