and i don think its too late, it would be nicee if it happened sooner but , maybe if fletcher gets rid of maurice and makes some good trades the leafs will be playoff contender

It's never too late. He can't do anything for this season, the leafs are destined to miss the playoffs again. If he can trade Sundin or Kaberle though, it will have a big impact five years from now.

ya can get rid of maurice and make trades at the deadline and stuff so there is still a good chance they r playoff contenders

I might be going crazy but didn't you just say the exact same thing?
Either way, they're not making the playoffs. Just incase they do though, they're definitely not going further than the first round.

| keep dreaming, Leafs are going nowhere fast, with or without trading Sundin, Kaberle. If the Leafs were going to hire a senior citizen to run the team, why not take the best there is available in Scotty Bowman? one of the poorest run organizations in all of sports |
