I really think Marty will be a lock for this one. Both have very similar numbers, but Marty has faced way more shots and has a way better SV%. Pretty good considering Marty's crappy start. Nabokov does have more shutouts, so that may get more consideration in the end.

Roloson? he's played what 2 games in the last month and a half.

I think Nabokov will have a lagit chance at winning this.

Right now I would say Brodeur but there is still about ten games left.

If Ty Conklin played the full year he would most likely be a good candidate.

Tomas Vokoun. The darkest day for the Predators was trading their cheap #1 goalie for a draft pick

I would not have included either Ward or Kiprusoff on the list. Giguere would have been on.

Ward has been like a yo-yo all season. He's either good or absolute crap.
Kiprusoff has been good lately, but for the first 45 or so games he was well down there in all stats. Even now he still is inconsistent.

Giguere has been one of the best goalies this year, other than Luongo, Nabokov or Brodeur. Though he does have a better defensive unit to fall back on.

My choices would have been
Brodeur
Luongo
Leclaire
Nabokov
Giguere

But ultimately it probably will come down to Brodeur, Luongo, or Nabokov in the end

I would like to hear some reasoning for your choice of Turco or Roloson.
Both very unlikely candidates.

A good choice for me might be, yes, Martin Brodeur. He has definetely not had one of the strongest years of his career but, when the Vezina is awarded, I think that it should go to the goalie that contributes and helps his team in the biggest way.

I don't think Luongo even has a shot at this. He's too inconsistent and hedoesn't even measue up to Nabokov or Brodeur this year. Henrik Lundqvist should also get consideration, he's kept his team in there the entire season and it's showing.

Ellis or Mason?

Roloson! What how much weed do some of you smoke?

Marty Brodeur is a lock for sure, Luongo would of been but he hasnt played well recently. He had an amazing stretch of shutouts and then he hasnt been the same since. Thats just my opinion though.
