i dont like many members around here, two people i actually really like are leigh and beans i think theyre genious
but how about that willus guy is it just me or does he whine and complain too much? he's just like babs was when this site started up, babs would ask ppl never to post again http://www.pickuphockey.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1600
and tell people off just cause he didnt agree with them and lock topics even though the admin was fine with them, babs was some (ADMIN EDIT CONTENT REMOVED )

Babs and Willus were such respected posters that's why they were given the Moderator title. Babs is a hockey genius and I quite miss him because he isn't on these forums that much. You ask Willus anything involving Orr and old greats like Denis Savard and so on he will go on an on about how good they are because he has had first hand experience watching them. Both of them are classy guys who make these forums good. Show some respect to them because without them we would have a lot of useless forums here.

Oh boy, okay I've stopped laughing now I can type.
I just went back and read all of your 15 posts there FF. More than half of them were belligerent and abusive of other posters and members.
Here's your only warning from me. Start respecting other posters and members. Read the rules about posting here and abide by them. It's not up to me to ban anyone here, if it were though you would already be done. Lucky for you Admin is much more lenient than I.
However this is what I will promise you. Any further belligerence in your posts will result in your post being deleted. Without exception.

| Willus I have never had a problem with. Like most mods he has great knowledge of the game and I've never seen him whine or complain. Franzen I don't get what your trying to do, your trying to dis everything and everyone on the site but for what reason? I can't see what your getting out of this. Even if you do clean up your act im still going to think of you as the guy who called out one our most respected and knowledgble posters. |

Hey FF, I know you. You know, the kid in the corner everyone picks on, laughs at and you secretly plot revenge against them. "One day I will be Brian Burke", you say, "One day I will be the last one laughing".
In your spare time you like to read and occasionally watch hockey, tune in to the playoffs and hear them talk about Franzen. " This guy is a superstar" you say. So off it is to NHL Shop, where there and Franzen goods galore. Maybe a jersey will make them stop laughing you think. As the days pass you hear him being refferenced as a mule, so you bcome angry with the hockey world. How dare they! They can't call him a mule!
So at pickuphockey al is okay, and I can make fun of others like I get made fun of. Willus = Wuss. Haha, I outdid myself there. So you casually walk to school the next day thinking....Ha, I'm a rebel. I act tough on the computer defending my idol and making the hockey world look like retards. I'm #1.
Later in the day you say hi to the girl that likes you and she laughs and says "I thougt you died yesterday". Heartbroken you retreat to your room and stare at the Franzen blow up doll you got during the postseason. This makes you fell better inside and out.
At night, you crawl into your bed after an exausting day. Franzen jersey on blow up doll, 7:30 is lights out, no exception. Because tomorrow there is always someone else on pickuphockey to make fun of.
Am I in the ballpark here? |

Does insulting FF back really make things better? No, it will most likely lead to more insults thrown each way. If you don't appreciate what he says in his posts than do not fight fire with fire, do not do exactly what he is doing and insult him. You want him to stop...just don't give him attention, he is probably very happy right now that he has stirred up the members and you gave him the kind of reaction that he desired.
Not trying to pick sides here, just posting my thoughts, they may not even be relevant, but I still hope you consider them. |

OK fellas,
Obviously one of the mods locked this up and rightly so. FF this was completely and utterly out of line. There are ways to handle situations and this certainly is not one of them.
For future reference please email me if you have issues with the moderation and we will make efforts to handle it if we feel it is needed.
However in this case it is not. Willus handles himself exceptionally well on this site and we appreciate his efforts 100%! He is knowledgeable about the game and always remains calm, even in extreme situations such as this where you have launched a very personal and malicious attack against him. Please remember that moderators are members here too, and therefore are also entitled to their own personal opinions about the game. Willus has always been impeccable when separating his duties as a moderator and his opinions as a valued member.
Please consider this an official warning that posts such as these will not be tolerated!
All members please also note that just because someone has made an inappropriate post such as this one, it does not give you free license to attack the poster. Everyone must follow the guidelines set out by the site:
