he's looking for 8 million for 2 years i hear,,, i think the habs want him that bad but i would be hesistant about signing them for that much,,,,,,,,dont get me wrong an amazing talent ,, but 8 million and if he comes into the picture kovies points drop huge,,,

i dont want him in t.o (atleast not as captain) i definetly dont want him in montreal and i dont want to retire.

but im going to say montreal if he lowers his money offers.

Montreal doesn't care if Kovie's points drop, as long as the team wins more no matter who they pick up. And in this scenario I think it would be safe to assume the team would improve even further. I just don't know about 8 Mil for a guy in the twilight of his career.
I also highly doubt that Toronto would keep him and NOT have him as captain. That also seems highly unlikely.
I think the best fit for him is Montreal - I believe that acquiring him definitely moves them into the upper echelon of contenders...but the pricetag...

Hopefully Detroit, Sundin deserves a cup. At least they have some winner-mentality wich is more than you can say of some other teams.
Sundin is alongside Lidström and Forsberg part of a trinity that are considered the best of their generation of the swedish players.

A cup would place him in The Triple Gold Club where he belong alongside his brethren.

If he would join The Wings next season how would his line look like?

i can agree with this but he would have to lower his price tag to playy in hockeytown!
