He got signed by the pens for 4.5 million.
He has a nose for the net, a deadly shooter's touch and loads of deception to his game. Is virtually unstoppable on a breakaway and a major scoring threat on special teams. hee tends to get lazy at times. Doesn't use his size nearly enough. Gets down on himself when not scoring goals.
They probubly got him instead of Jagr Because he went to play in Europe
Think the Ex-Islander/Sabre can pull of another 60 or 70 point season?
Will he be a top 2 liner?
Thoughts...?

He is completely off radar. Nobody expects anything from him. As long as he puts up a decent season, he's golden. This could be a great depth move...

If he can put up at least a 45 point season he will be a good move,
he wouldnt put up close to as much numbers as Jagr.
But i believe he can take the role that they planned on giving Jagr.
He used to be a pretty good player, all he needs to do is put up decent numbers, nothing like an all star or anything.

Satan signed for 3.5, and I think he is a good fit alongside Crosby or Malkin.

This was great move by the Pens; I think he's a good fit for the team. There won't be nearly as much focus and expectation for him as there was in either Buffalo or New York, just the right scenario.
And depending on how smart your fantasy league cohorts are, he could be a fantastic mid-to-late round pick.

I still think this guy needs to play at least one game with the Devils.

No cup for Dino, what a shame

Satan is way out of his prime and this is a minor move for the Penguins.

Dont get me wrong, he will still be somewhat effective but not to the extent that the Pens are looking for.
