today at the age of 39 Detroit Red Wings player dallas drake retires.
he had a great career and will be missed by all....maybe not sure whaty you guys think about him

He was one of those great character, gritty, role playing, 110% type of guys. The latest in a string of guys who got to go out on top. Good for him.

He had a very respectable career. 1009 games and almost 500 points (477) .473 PPG. Not bad at all! He definitey was a depth guy. Good call to end it with a cup!

Apparently he is in Rossland BC with the cup today. I have good friends in that town, I wonder if they'll get their pic with the cup??
