He is the youngest player to score 100 points in the NHL (Gretzky did it in the WHA) and the seventh player to break the 100 point mark this season. This year has produced the best crop of rookies in history. Can't wait until Crosby and Ovechkin get to show their stuff in the playoffs.

Who had a better/more memorable performance? I think Ovechkin did it with more showmanship (Blazing speed, sweetest moves, 100+ points, 50+ goals including the undisputed 'flukiest" goal in history!)

But then again Crosby was amazing and is 2 years younger. And he is the youngest EVER to reach 100 points. I guess tonight might be the deciding factor on Rookie of the Year. If Crosby passes Ovechkin in points, is he worthy?

I say yes.
