Sean Avery was asked today if had any interest in playing for the Leafs. His reply was something like, "Yeah, I would have liked that. But they didn't try for me. I guess they don't like me, or just want to be in last place again."
Every player should be this candid; and funny!
The Oil WILL make the playoffs in 2009.

in my opinion out of all the goons in the NHL he is the most talented one.
but i still don like him after what he said to blake. i mean thats just wrong to say to someone about their disease that could kill them treatable or not/

Did he really say something about the cancer?? like did anyone actually hear it? i know avery denies it but i also know avery paced the blueline going after him,, but what did he say do we really know?

one of him teammeates said that he actually said it. kinda sad on how he even said his grandpa had cancer and died. so i pretty much hate him considering ive had 3 aunts a grandpa who died from it and my cousin got it when she was like 3 and survived.

No1 knows for sure, but if he did its extremely wrong but doesn't affect me personally, I live in Industrial Cape Breton and some may have heard of the Tar Ponds, well thats the 2nd most polluted industrial site in the world, and I know of so many ppl getting cancer including many friends and relatives, but he didn't personally attack me so I dont really care much for the comments, it's just a really sick and twisted way of getting some1 off of his game for sure. But no1 truly knows if he did say it.
