| I just want to let you all in on a little secret. I am the best player ever. One year in Jr.B I scored an unbelievable 53 goals in 39 games and chiped in 33 appels. So I had 2.2 points per game and there for I am the BEST EVER.....I hope you can all tell I am makeing fun of this thread. |

What kind of a player do you think Wayne would be like if he was 3-4 years into the league with the conditioning, nutrition and the system of coaching they have today. Simply put he would still be the best. Whether it was defensively or offensively, Wayne would have strived to be the best player in the game. With good conditioning and Nutrition he could have schooled anybody in the league today with his vision of the game. Only a few players shared how he saw plays unfolding. He was always in the right place at the right time to make a play. Give him skating skill the guys have today he would be unstoppable, very much how he was considered in the 80's.
The game would change to adjust to Wayne, again. |

I think that Gretzky was a to nice of a guy,didnt want to fight,didnt check much(1-5 times a game,i think)But i dont know if thats good or bad.

Yeah a bit better,i think alot better.But my top 4 is Gretzky,Lemieux,Orr,Howe.

I had to go wit bobby orr.He played good on d and by that i mean AWSOME!!!!!But of course he retired but now that hes old dont think he aint a good player cause i say if you play defence,he can kick ur ass. |

MSC....while i haven't read this entire thread, i have followed the recent posts. At first, i figured the posters were liquored but then i realized the posts were from a couple different days, so unless these guys are on a wild bender, i'm not sure. Every time i read some of this crap i think the server's gone screwy or something?    |
