Poll Question:
With a hat trick in his debut NHL game, will Fabian Brunnstrom be the real deal in the NHL?

too eatly to tell but most of his goals were decent right place right time. he seems like a speedy kid who knows where to go and knows how to put the puck in the net so will see how he does in 20 games for me to decide |

I can see him being good but not amazing, just a decent guy probably 60-70 pts a year

He has very good work ethics. Many swedish players tends to be relatively late bloomers in comparison with Canadiens or Russian players due to the swedish youth program.
I don´t see him as a rising superstar but a very good solid hockeyplayer. (Sigh, back to the books) |

By his 3rd to 4th season he will be a 30-40 goal scorer. He seems like a smart hockey player with talent. But i guess time will tell. |

Missing Poll Option: Above average goal scorer, solid player.
It seems we only had the choice of superstar or below average/nothing special, and for me, that's like asking someone to choose between just two political parties.
I watched the highlights, and have read up on him a bit - seems to have a very healthy work ethic, reads the ice well, and clearly has a scoring touch. If he stays relatively healthy, he looks like over 30 goals and 30 assists to me!

Maybe a Marian Gaborik without injuries (so far) and at an entry level contract. :) U know, a player who gets as many if not more goals than assists. I think he'll play 60-65 games and post 23 goals and 19 assists this year, or at least around that range. |
