I'm gonna go off the board as well and say Thomas Vanek of the Buffalo Sabres, he had 43 goals in 06-07 , and is off to a hot start this season and I believe he will have a consistent season and possibly lead the NHL in goals

Ovechkin is the most likely candidate of the past seven, if he goes without injury. If I could pick the guy I would like to do it, I would pick Vinny Lecavalier because I just like him as a player. To early to tell who is going to jump out and be the goal scorers this year. Some unusuals making the highlights right now, Dubinsky, Vanek, Semin. We will see if they can keep it up.
